Reward for Missing Vancouver Dog

A two year old Pomeranian named Simba has been stolen from an elderly woman in dogandcollar.com’s hometown of Vancouver, British Columbia.

Simba’s owner is not in good health, and animal welfare organizations often send volunteers to take Simba for walks in a nearby park. Several days ago, one such volunteer showed up at the woman’s door, unannounced. Although the woman was not expecting the dog walker, she thought it was a mistake on her part, and trustingly let the impersonator take Simba. After the dog was not returned to her, the woman contacted the regular organizations only to find that they had not sent a volunteer. The woman is devastated and claims that her loving dog is her best friend and companion. The assumed dog walker knew Simba’s name, and must have known about the regular volunteer visits. Anyone with information is asked to come forward to police or the Vancouver SPCA.

Simba is a fawn coloured Pomeranian, and was last seen wearing his blue dog harness. A reward will be given to anyone who leads to Simba’s safe return home.
