Man Rescues Dogs From Fire
Earlier this week, a Jack Russell Terrier saved a woman from a house fire. A man in Maryland has shown appreciation by rescuing two dogs from a similar fire.
The man and his 6 year old son were out for a walk in the neighbourhood, when they noticed flames coming from underneath a garage door. The man immediately called 911 from his cell phone. The little boy noticed that a dog was jumping at the kitchen window and must be trapped inside. Knowing that it would be too late by the time fire fighters arrived, the man ran into the home himself and pulled the dog to safety. While inside, he could hear the barks of another dog somewhere in the house. One more time, the man put his own life at risk and searched for the other dog, who was found cowering under a bed. The dog was terrified and reluctant to move, but the man managed to pull the dog to safety by grabbing a hold of its dog collar.
Both dogs survived and have been safely reunited with their families, who owe the man and his son a debt of gratitude.
