$18,000 Worth of Dog Food Stolen

In Harrington, England, thieves that made away with nearly $18,000 (Canadian) worth of dog food, are still on the loose.

James Wellbeloved was the brand of food stolen. It is a specialty hypoallergenic dog food, made with carefully selected ingredients, and the most popular of its kind in the United Kingdom. A truck carrying bags of the food was broken into, with all of the contents inside stolen. Police believe this was a carefully planned and well thought out robbery. Each bag weighs up to 15kg, and there were a huge number of bags inside the truck. The thieves must have had several vehicles and people involved in order to make away with that much food, without being spotted.

Police are asking anyone with information to come forward, and for businesses in the pet industry to report any offers of James Wellbeloved dog food.
