Discovery Center for Dogs
This weekend marks the grand opening of “Pawsway,” a community center for dogs, cats and humans alike in Toronto, Ontario.
The idea behind opening the center, was to create a retreat where pets are considered members of the family. There will be weekly activities, demonstrations and events. There are plenty of games and an activity center, which includes an agility course. The center is meant to be great fun for the whole family, but also educational. Experts are on hand to help with any dog or cat related questions you may have, and give you tips on pet care and safety. Displays include “How to Read Your Dog’s Body Language,” “Choosing the Right Breed,” and “How Old Is Your Dog, Really?” among others. There is also a moving and inspirational exhibit displaying true stories of dogs and cats that have saved the lives of humans and other animals.
The new center is located on Queen’s Quay in Toronto, so be sure to check it out this opening weekend.
